Hello, welcome to Dorcas Clothing Alterations Service.  Dorcas Clothing Alterations is part of “Dorcas Designs” which is a Christian company that makes clothes, and customised embroidery for our customers.  Dorcas Clothing Alterations provides a range of alterations for dresses, trousers, jackets blouses etc.  We are a mobile service which means we are able to travel to you to discuss, and measure the alterations that you need.

We have all seen in the shops that lovely dress, trousers or suit only to find that it does not fit us. How many times have you gone away and have not bought that garment because it did not fit you, or needed some slight alterations. Well, now you can buy, and wear what you want. Dorcas Clothing Alterations Service can alter clothes to suit you and your body requirements.

In this brochure you will find a list of various garments and the charges for altering them.  All payments require a 50% deposit in advance.

Please note that prices are there only as a guideline.  Each garment is charged dependent upon the complexity of the alteration required.  

Alterations include:

Skirts: Shorten/lengthen; Let-in/Take Out waist and Hips; Replace zip

Blouses: Shorten sleeves (plain); Replace Buttons 

Dresses: Shorten hem (plain); Take-in, hips and waist; re-hem; Replace zip
