We host Social Sewing workshops. These are times when anyone who can sew or has a an interest in sewing, can come along and work on a sewing project or maybe have a quick hem to do.... The sewing machines you will work on are our Janome 224A model pictured above. These are fairly new machines. Alternatively you can bring your own machine, but you must let us know in advance if you are going to do this. The classes last 2 hours and run on a monthly basis.
These are relaxed times where you get on with your sewing with other enthusiastic sewists. We give encougement and support and create a friendly community atmosphere for sewing, helping you feel relaxed and be creative. There are also some tools on hand for you to use, as well as an iron and portable ironing board. Just bring along your sewing project.
You will need basic knowledge of using a sewing machine.
